10 Useful WordPress Plugins
As most people know there are a wealth of different WordPress plugins. Quite often if you imagine there should be one, there is.
Here is a list of 10 plugins that we find useful. It’s not exclusive and there are many more useful plugins out there!
1. Exclude Pages from Navigation
Want some pages on your site but don’t want them in any menus? This plugin removes them. Ideal for “Term & Conditions” links that you might want in a footer but not in the main menu.
If you want you posts to do more you might want to execute some php in them. This plugin lets you do just that. A word of caution however, using this plugin and the visual editor is fraught with danger. Hence plugin 3…
If you are using php in your posts or pages, or if you just don’t like the visual editor this plugin is for you. Removes it from view.
Give more flexibility on how the page is layout out with Page Columnist. Allows for headers, footers and loads of columns in posts with each post being individual. Useful for giving a page a ‘magazine’ appearance.
A plugin I frequently use to allow testimonials in sidebars or as a page. The sidebar version is all AJAXed up to provide a transition effect and provides random quotes / testimonials.
One of many plugins to help with the integration of Google Analytics into a website. Be sure to check ‘ignore administrator’ to get a truer record of your visitor numbers.
The second Google inspired plugin. This one makes sure your sitemap is always up to date and automatically informs the search engines of new posts as you add them.

9. Yet Another Related Posts Plugin
Uses it magic algorithm to find related posts on your site to give your visitors more to read. Helps lower the bounce rate.
Manage all your 301 redirects and monitor 404 errors. If you find yourself renaming and moving pages this is the plugin for you. Keeps your site unbroken.
